The 70th year of the Cannes International Film Festival was truly a celebration of global cinema. While we saw a host of International celebrities walking the red carpet, the Indian divas like always stunned us with their beauteous appearances and great style. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Shruti Haasan sparkled at the event with their stunning looks.

Living up to her ultimate fashionista image, Sonam Kapoor walked the red carpet on day five at Cannes in a resplendent pink Elie Saab gown, looking like a princess with sparkling beauty. To match her gown, she wore shimmering pink-tinted eye-shadow with perfectly winged eyeliner and loads of mascara, all of which gave her a bright-eyed appearance. The pink blush and rose-tinted lips further lend a very feminine appeal. All this matched by a romantic wispy hairdo which made her look absolutely ethereal. She also signed off from the festival in style by wearing her favorite Elie Saab again for final Cannes 2017 red carpet appearance. Shimmering in a gold gown, she was indeed a sight to behold!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave people much to talk about on her red carpet appearance on day two with her glam goddess look. She paired her Ralph & Russo ruffled red-gown with deep wine lips and loose waves. Her smokey eyes and perfectly arched eyebrows made her look red-hot while she went out and out glam, pleasing the paparazzi. She then chose a Michael Cinco dress which is from his Impalpable Dream of Versailles collection and quite fitting for Bollywood royalty! It is a blue color creation that is even touted as something that would make any Disney Princess jealous.

Shruti Haasan amazed the world with her 2017 Cannes red carpet debut. This gorgeous actress wore a black Avaro Figlio gown with a ring from Aurelle by Leshna Shah. This perplexing rocking look was just spectacular. She then took a cue from her movie character Sangamithra and channeled her inner warrior princess through her look on the red carpet by wearing Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla saree. The metallic golden blouse and black saree combination was a definite head-turner! The minimal make-up with winged eyeliner added a timeless touch to the look and fared well with her flawless skin and nude lips.

Deepika Padukone dazzled the red carpet in her elegant bottle green Brandon Maxwell gown with a thigh high slit, complementing her look with jewellery from deGrisogono and Chloe Gosselin heels. She chose to keep the makeup and lips nude while her moss-green, smoky eyes did all the talking. Her dewy skin and sophisticated twisted high updo oozed glamour as she strutted her stuff elegantly on the red carpet. She also stole the show when she made an appearance in Marchesa gown which was a sheer wine-colored one-shouldered gown with shimmery floral work on it. Completing the look were Jimmy Choo heels and jewellery again from deGrisogono.
